Need new prefolds, where to go?

Bought birth to potty system from Cotton Bottoms a few years ago and DS2 is now in what they called 'toddler' prefolds (they have a green edge). DS2 was an unexpected surprise so had given away / used as cleaning cloths a lot of these prefolds. The ones he is using are getting a bit tatty and I can see him using them for another year at least. Anyway the upshot is that we could do with some more. Any recommendations of where to get similar prefolds would be much appreciated.

Try Twinkle They sell Bummis prefolds which are the same.

I can't remember where but you can get bamboo prefolds now - much more absorbant with less bulk! Somewhere in Wales.....or is it bamboo squares.......

I had Nappy Nation Bamboo prefolds for ds1. They were lovely, but took and absolute age to dry. I think twinkle sold them.

IIRC the toddler sized cotton bottoms were bigger than the majority of prefold that are sold nowadays. Do you mean the ones for toddlers over 40lbs? I think my green edged ones are that size. Have you looked on ebay?

If you are after 2nd hand ones I have about 22 Bambino Mio ones in the loft (washing machine shredded a few!). Were used by DD and DS but plenty of life left and not many people around who seem to like them! I'm sure we can come to some sort of arrangement

Tutu-yes the cotton bottom toddler prefolds are really big but they seem to fit well into my Nature Nappies wraps which is why ideally I would like some more or ones of equivalent size. Also the Cotton Bottom smaller prefolds (they have a blue edge) are somehow harder to fold into shape and are a bit too short for the NN wrap. So I want to make sure I buy the right prefolds and avoid costly extra postage.

Another 'ideally' I would like to buy a couple more Nature Nappies wraps at the same time. I bought 'large' Nature Nappies from the Mothercare website but lots of the websites sell Nature Nappies wraps 'one size'. So does this mean NN sell small, medium, large and one size or have these Nappy websites bought some mediums, for example, and called them one size? ...'Tis all very confusing. I can see why, when expecting dc1, I bought a birth to potty set. Although when it arrived I will admit to still finding it odd as there were more wrap sizes than there were prefold sizes, still I worked it out eventually

I look on e;bay from time to time, but I don't have much joy (ironic since I sold my spare unwrapped prefolds on e:bay a few years ago)

Feetheart thanks for the offer. Bambino Mio currently only sell two size prefolds I'm not sure how big the bigger prefold is, if you could let me know that would be great.

My other thought is to use Terry's nappies in the wraps. Has anyone done this? I have some 42 year old nappies given to me by a friend to use as muslins so I thought I'd experiment with those as they are much cheaper and easy to fold. Any more suggestions much appreciated

I think I may have some unopened packs of the toddler prefolds that I haven't got round to selling. Ds2 is never going to be big enough for them! If you are interested I can dig them out.

That would be great Tutu! I only need one packet. My e:mail is [email protected]
