My D1 is behaving totally out of character. She is quite head strong with a lot of character but usually well behaved. At the moment she is extremely cheeky, defiant, angry, rude and pushing her boundaries. It's as if she is having tantrums she forgot to have as a toddler. I'm shocked and at my wits end. We are currently 'punishing' her with one week of no internet or TV. She seems to respond to this withdrawal of favourite 'things'. She seems to be as good as gold at school. Any advice welcome. Are there any good books on handling this/helping her in the best way possible to get through it? I'm alarmed and frightened that I'm unable to manage it/get through it without spoiling the close relationship we have.
