Cot bed sheets?

It's nearly time to change my DDs cot into a bed. I'm confused on sheet size though. It's a cot bed, so it will be the same size when changed to a bed (I think!!) Do I need to order cot bed sheets, or can I just order single bed sheets and duvet and make it fit. I'm especially wondering about the fitted sheet.

What would you suggest doing? I've found a sheet/duvet set that I really like, but it's only in a single bed sheet. Will this work?

Thanks for the replies!

You could use a normal single bed sheet but it will be a touch too big but nothing a bit of tucking it under won't solve. A single duvet will be too long for the cotbed but you could use it sideways and tuck it firmly down the wall side preventing her from losing her duvet in the night.

Mattress will be cot bed size but I think they can differ between brands. I've always bought cot-bed fitted sheets but can buy duvet sets for a single bed.

I was a bit confused about this too - got a bit obsessive about it actually - can't understand why now, so much else to worry about really . Got some fitted cot bed sheets from Mothercare and then found that Ikea do some really good cot bed duvets and duvet sets, pretty reasonable and come with a pillowcase that fits the little pillow I'd got from Mothercare as well. I found that a single bed duvet swamped the bed and kept slipping off. John Lewis do some lovely stuff too, a tad expensive tho!
