At what age is it OK to stop changing a baby's nappy when it wakes in the night? Ie when can you feed the baby and put it back to bed? Ever? Do you carry on doing it til the baby sleeps through the night? Does it matter if the baby is wearing cloth? I would feel bad leaving him all night when I know he is probably wet but changes make the nights so much harder. He goes 3-4 hours from the feed when we go to bed and then about 2 hourly, which would be OTT nappy changing I think?

My babies are 6 weeks old and I don't change their nappies in the middle of the night unless they are dirty. I do it at 10pm when I feed them then they are left until about 7am. Their botttoms always look ok to me. If they were rashy I wouldn't. DD used to wear cloth at night but imo she was too wet by the morning so she wore disposables.
