Has anyone topped up their nursing diploma to a degree with OU? Help please!!

I am currently at the end of the second year and due to financial reasons/time constraints I have decided not to pursue the degree next year. Not entirely sure if I'll be completing the diploma or advanced diploma next year (tutor told me pretty much not to bother with advanced diploma and has now changed her mind, leaving me with four weeks to research 4000 words... don't see it happening!)

However as I was nosing on the OU site as I have a side interest in theology and literature type subjects, I saw they offer nursing top ups.

It also appears (I may well be wrong here as I'm already studying) that I might be eligible for funding too, which makes it even better.

Has anyone completed this and could offer any advice?

Thanks!

Haven't completed this but am almost there!
I topped up my 240 CATS point with 2 x 60 credit modules. Have done one and am half way through the other. Got credit transfer for all 240pts.

Awesome. Did you get any financial help with it? I'm assuming you did one at the time then - I've been debating doing two 30 and the same time and then starting the 60...

I haven't got my 240 yet as my course doesn't end till summer 2011 but figured if I made a start now I'd only be running over by a few months!!

How are you finding it?

My employers are helping with the fees.
I'm finding it OK but working full-time, having 2 young dcs and studying for a degree isn't for everyone! Luckily DH is very supportive.
I found the assignments OK and score well in those but I found the exam harder and didn't get as good marks, Came out at 2.2 level for first module. Need to stop MNing and get on with my next assignment!

Good luck!
