DD is 6 and has been a real sod this morning. It is her brother's birthday and she has been determined to spoil it. She has asked him if he was having a nice birthday and when he said yes she said oh like she was disappointed. She was sent to her room 3 times in 2 hours, one for hitting her brother with a stick.
I called her up to put her books away. She wasn't doing it so I told her how it needed to be done. She wouldn't so I took them all off the shelves and put one back to show her. Her response was to say she didn't put them on the floor so she wasn't going to put them back and then started kicking them. I told her twice not too, she wouldn't stop so I left the room telling her she would stay there until it was done.
I came on to ask how long I should leave her and she appeared a minute or two ago saying she had done it. I sent her back up and will look in a minute.
Now that I have worked out she is the reason her brother is getting into trouble at school I feel we need to do something that makes her realise it is not acceptable what
she is doing.
Inlaws due in 20 minutes for birthday party and I will not have her spoil the day.
