Spanish/English baby toys

Hi,

I'm neither a Mum or a Dad but an Uncle, so not sure I'm allowed here! Nevertheless...

My sister wants open my nephew up to other languages, specifically Spanish. Does anyone have any recommendations of where I can get bilingual Spanish/English toys for him in the UK? He's only 7 months so DVDs, flashcards, etc aren't really appropriate.

Many thanks!

How about Dora the Explorer or Go, Diego, Go toys?

And we did once have an activity station that spoke in Spanish as well as English. It was a Baby Einstein one, if I remember rightly.

Just about the mention Dora!

Also Baby Einstein might have spanish books/dvds.

Baby Einstein DVDs have a Spanish soundtrack as standard, I think.

If you are really keen, Mothercare have branches in Spain, so you might be able to order the Spanish equivalents of things they sell via their Spanish site.

My issue with Dora (from a French p.o.v) is that it seems that, whatever language you buy dora in, her first goal is then to teach you another one - normally English.

Oh, yes. And she's bloody irritating.
