Hi there, I have the old style fuzzis, and a new DD (age 6 weeks). I used them with DD1, who was also a heavy wetter, but is nothing compared to DD2!

I have microfibre inserts... Is there anything better now?

Many thanks.

Little lamb bamboo boosters are good to add to the MF insert as they're v slim and absorbant. Also hemp little weeds (prefolds) make good inserts but are a little bulky on a young baby.

The MF should be sufficient for a 6 wk old tho, could it be that your nappies need strip washing? if you get detergent build up it makes them leak, this may be the case if u used them for DD1 as well.

Also you prob know this but always use washing powder (a small amount) not liquid and never use softener.

Thank you so much littler1 - I never knew about the powder only rule - have been using a little liquid. Will strip wash them now.

She wees so much - the inserts after one wee were dripping! Must be all my good milk!

A nice thin hemp booster or insert should do the trick. I used to pop an ellas house hemp insert under the fuzzi bunz insert and found it did the trick.
