So are all toddlers hard-wired to scare the ** out of you? Or just mine?

Just calming down now. Went to local shop, she started playing with cards, then grabbed one and ran away from me out of the shop - thank god she stopped before she got to the road - we have had words but she just doesn't get why running off is so naughty. Going to have to dig the reins out aren't I?

I was so scared - shouted at her then burst into tears when we go home - she has run off before, but this is the first time she has run out of a shop towards the road. Some bloke by the door just watched her go - wouldn't you grab for a child obviously running away from heavily pg mother?

Anyway - we're all fine - might have my weekly glass of wine later.

no not just yours but mine too!

DD2 aged four ran into the road yesterday but it is pedestrianized so not easy to see where the road starts - I did shout at her though as I was so stressed out!

Then ds aged 20 months fell on his face (at (at home, just on the floor) and didn't breathe immediately - he has done this a few times before - but it gives me yet more grey hairs every time!

No wonder I have a headache today.

Just stopped her running into the garden with a plastic bottle top in her mouth - ffs no idea what has got into her today. 2 hours till bedtime - not sure if we are both going to survive that long.

Mine got a smack when he ran in the road at 18 months. Never did it again.

My other child walked in to the road without me saying so and got a smack. I hated smacking them but I would have hated burying them more.
