Cheeky Wipes & Bum Genius

Have got a stash of Bum Genius which I am just starting to use. Am thinking of investing in some cheeky wipes .

Problem is the cheeky wipes use a (small amount of ) essential oils, so theoretically if I wash them in with my BGs I void the BG warranty.

Thoughts? Am I being overly precious? Would it damage the BGs

Can you not omit the essential oils? I just use water on my washable wipes and it works just as well and as long as I make them up fresh every day or so they smell fine.

I could but I kind of hanker after the nice smells

I use cheeky wipes and BG but i just use plain water, however i do use tea tree oil in the nappy bucket for smells and never had any problems with the nappies effectiveness.

I use plain water on my wipes but have always added tea tree oil to the wash and it hasn't affected DS's BGs.
