His reason????
I found a drawer full of my knickers and bras in his bedroom (he's 5). So I asked him, very nicely and not in a way to embarrass him, why my underwear is in his drawer.
he replied "when I'm older I'm going to live in this house when you are in heaven, and I put your knickers in my bedroom for my wife when she lives here, because my wife will need knickers and I want her to have yours"
although I was touched at his thoughtfulness, I couldn't help being baffled at him taking them. So I replied to him....
"when you are older and have a wife, she will have her own underwear Darling, and she won't want to wear Mummy's threadbare granny knickers and over shoulder boulder holders underwear.... People like to wear their own underwear, not other peoples.
Anyone else had this???
