8 month old DD has been up since half 5 and hasn't stopped doing this awful winey cry that she has going on at the moment. She is teething so she has a good excuse but God my nerves are in tatters.

Do you think the neighbours will think I'm odd if I go down to the bottom of the garden and scream very loudly!!!!

So sorry for you, I have many of those mornings and they are the worst.
Can you take DD out and about, maybe to a noisy place so you can't hear it??!!
Presume she has had calpol and teething gel?

Or, as I have done, scream into a pillow.

DS2 aged 3 has been screaming since 5am, just being an arsehole quite frankly, so I feel your pain.

As least your baby has a decent reason!
