clean before dry? what does it mean

i must be a real dope, but what does this mean
and what does dry mean,
is it that they are wearing pants and stay dry between wees?
its seems to mean the opposite ...dawwhhhh

yeah, clean means they pooh in potty or loo, dry means they wee in potty or loo.
Point being that some (most?) children are one before the other eg my dd was dry almost as soon as she consented to sit on potty (at 2.6yrs) but poohed in her pants for 2 weeks until she got that bit.
DS1 otoh still weed himself now and then for months but never poohed his pants. Bizarre!
