The downsides to having three children..

Are there any? I've noticed a lot of 'shall we go for 3' threads just lately...

I'd love 3 but DH say's no, and he's not likely to change his mind either, so perhaps a reality check as to why 3 might not be such a good idea will make me finally content with just the 2

Gone are the days when the three of us kids used to cram in the back of mum's Austin Metro.... we even drove through France with the car packed to the nines for a self-catering holiday as a family of 5!

ah well, four children ...

My mums fourth child was the end of my fathers head of hair....and the end of mothers bladder control.

Dbro#2 has a lot to answer for.

Dc3 is raised by a pack of wolves the whole family - and hasdiscipline and manners to match.

(It's been a long day here too. The above mentioned had a monster tantrum about shoes this morning - and then, with a keen sense of irony, used those same well fitted shoes to do a runner this afternoon....)

Oops just come back to this thread. Glad my typos have amused. Actually, think there could be a niche market for a mildman. Instead of making deliveries in the morning, he should start his rounds about 9pm and only deliver to knackered old bitches Mothers with more than 3 who put too much laundry on...
And think that the pint of mild must be slurped whilst adjusting wrinkled stocking and hairnet.
If the bleeding kids haven't used it for a Barbie-entrapper...

Mamatomany - I'm discovering you may be right - we have the four seater with 3 DC's and have already had to stop on several journeys recently to move DD one space away from DS1 to keep them from fighting. Hopefully DS2 (4m) won't be as bad when he is a bit older- chances?!. We have to get some DVD players soon as we are planning on driving to S of France in August! My only consolation is DSIL has a Discovery and her 3 boys also manage to fight, even in their separate car seats .
