Encouraging another language when neither parent has one - can we learn together?

Sorry for the confusing title. Basically, I would love to speak another language properly myself and have been learning Spanish on and off for a few years (am planning to give it more serious attention next year, once my MA is finished). What I'm wondering is, is it possible to introduce or encourage another language with my little boy while I'm learning? Not hot housing or anything mad like that, just fun and games that could help us both learn.

DS will be 2 in September and I would love to give him even a basic awareness about other languages. I remember my brother teaching me to count up to fifteen in French when I was small and thinking it was all very exciting and exotic...is this a stupid idea?

We're teaching DS how to say hello & goodbye in several different languages (he asks - I think he wants to impress his teacher ). We might expand when he gets a bit older (he's 4) - I can just about speak 'holiday' French & Spanish. I'm good at picking up directions for some bizarre reason!

I think it's a great idea. I can speak a bit of Spanish - I had lessons a few years ago and the lady I had them with used to do exactly that - teach parents and their kids together. When I went back to work we got a Spanish speaking nanny (share). Now my DS is nearly 3 and we know a number of songs in Spanish which he likes singing just as much as the English nursery rhymes, and we both sing them together, even though my accent is far from perfect. Also we have some 'snap' cards, and sticker books that are in Spanish. I think any game like that would be great - he just thinks it's a game like any other, but my Spanish vocabulary is getting loads better!
