my son 2years 8 months is scared of the potty every time i suggest taking his nappy off for a bit he starts a temper tantrum, he wont wear anything other than a t-shirt unless he has a nappy on so cant go out, and although he now knows when he needs to wee he will refuse to go on the potty but confusingly he some times will go on the potty happy as anything

why not chuck the potty and go straight to the toilet, thats what i did.

and the cant going out bit, i stayed in the house/garden for a week til my dd was more or less totally dry, it was a nightmare being stuck, but it was worth it
