can anyone help me with writing a personal statement?

I mean, I haven't had to do one in years and have forgotten everything!
I am applying to do a PGCE in Mathematics and IT after getting a maths degree 10 years ago. COuldn't afford to do a PGCE until now.
I have experience of teahcing children when lived in spain and taught english and also tutored local kids through uni.
Help?
