How many children do you have and are you happy with that number?

Just wondering whether people out there are happy with their 1, 2, 3, 4 or more children.

What are the best and worst things about the number you have, and would you do it all the same again?

We had 4 close together. I never felt finished, but knew I couldn't cope with any more.

We had number 5 when the others were in their late teens. She is 3 now and keeps asking for a baby sister. Sadly for her I now understand how everyone else knows they are done, and really really don't want another. Would be a stretch too as I'm almost 47

If I could go back I would probably have had one about 3 years before DD. I don't like the thought of her growing up as an only with elderly parents. (Hoping she might have nieces and nephews soon)
