Recommendation for birth-to-potty pocket nappies?

I'm using a sized two-part nappy system but would like to get a couple of pocket nappies (or similar) to take out & about in my nappy bag. They need to be birth to potty ones as I can't afford to get sized nappies.

I've tried out a Bumgenius and I have a Wonderoos. Can anyone recommend one or the other, or another type? I liked the Bumgenius better than the Wonderoos, but might I run into problems when DS gets big/co-odinated enough to undo velcro?

Thanks!

Highly recommend Coolababy, they are well priced lots of nice colours and do the job.

We have a mixture of bumgenius, yoyoos, lollipops and totsbots. The lollipops are crap, the yoyoos are great but the baby needs fat legs, bumgenius last the longest, wash well, dry quickly and are quite slim but don't have the wow factor. They go lovely and soft as they get older though.

The totsbots are the newest - they are fluffles and are lovely, with a bamboo inser. t and are techincally all in ones but you do shove the bamboo bit inside the foldy out bit. They are beautiful and fluffy and soft but take many washes for the bamboo to get up to full absorbancy. We have found adding a micro makes them last as long as the bumgenius though. I don't think they would be what I would advise a real nappy virgin but they are really lovely.

Thanks for the recommendations, and for the detailed info, wrigglerstea. I'd not heard of Yoyoos, so I'll look into them - DS ha immensely fat legs. Do the totsbots ones take long to dry? When you say 'adding a micro' do you mean adding a microfibre booster? Do you use a particular sort? I use microfibre nappies (Bambinex Teddies) as well as Motherease ones, and I really like the microfibre fabric.

I would consider an all-in-one rather than a pocket nappy if I can get one which dries fairly quickly. I think I just want one which I can assemble in advance, and which doesn't take days to dry, otherwise I'll have to buy more of them than if I can get a fast-drying one.

Greenkids and happy heiny onesize are a good and popular onesize pocket. Tots do some but they are not over popular, other onesizes hmmm ooo yeah the rocky mountain which is similar leg adjusting system to the onesize fuzzi which is also quite popular though i dont stock that to confirm it. I quite liked wonderoos - lots of places are selling them off cheap as a new version is coming out soon.

I dont think the tots i mentioned are the one the previous poster mentioned - i was on about the pocket tot.

Not a pocket nappy, but love the new (2010) Bambinex All in One Easy Comfort nappies I have just got. They are birth to potty, slim fitting and dry very quickly - they are practically dry when they come out of the washing machine!

They don't have the "wow" factor to look at - but perform really well. They look at lot like a Tots Bot Fluffle with a plain white Tots Bot wrap on.

I got mine from here , which is selling them considerably cheaper than anywhere else, although only in white. The availability of other colours is a bit hit and miss anyway it seems. I bought 1 from The Nappy Lady to try out recently, ordered orange and got green. When I rung up about it, the supplier told me that Bambinex are only making them in white now, so other colours availble are just whatever old stock is left.

It always comes back to coolababys for me
I sometimes have brief flings with wee notions or ittis or similar..
but I always end up reaching for the coolababy's once the novelty of others has worn off

available from babybots
