7pm-6am.
yours seems fine.

NoahAndTheWhale · 05/05/2010 22:17

Have a 4 year old and a 6 year old but they sleep roughly the same amount.

Generally sleep from 8-8:30pm until about 7-7:30am. Earlier if a weekend naturally. So 11.5 hours at longest, 10.5 hours at shortest.

SuperBunny · 05/05/2010 22:23

4.8 yr old's sleep is getting worse but is currently from about 8.30 - 9 and I have to wake him up at 7, so about 10 hours. Was much better when he slept from 6.30 - 6.30.

My 5 yr old goes to bed at 7.30pm but I know he looks out the window or at his books until after 8pm. Gets up at about 7.00am.

Tortoise · 05/05/2010 22:30

5yr old in bed/asleep by 7.30. Generally awake by 7.30 weekdays. Sometimes have to wake her up.

PiratePrincess · 05/05/2010 22:35

Bed at 7, usually falls asleep at 7.30-8, sleeps til 7 when it's light and 8 during the winter!

annoyingdevil · 05/05/2010 22:40

Bed at 7pm. Plays with brother, demands food, comes down stairs, generally mucks around until around 9pm.

Has to be woken for school at 7.30. Her brother has the same amount and he's only 3.

Just found them both in bed wearing their halloween costumes (oh the joys of siblings sharing a room!)

curvey · 06/05/2010 09:06

DD is 5 and is asleep at 7.30 - 7.45, wake sometime after 7 usually.
About 11, sometimes 12, hours a night.

My DS used to go to bed at the same time at that age, but has ALWAYS been an early riser, and continues to be so. He is bright and alert though, so I guess that is just his internal body clock.

CoteDAzur · 06/05/2010 09:35

9-9:30 PM to 7-7:30 AM.

You might like to put her to bed a bit later if you want her to wake later.

katylou25 · 06/05/2010 10:19

Ds generally goes to bed by 7.30 - 8 if the weathers good and we're outside - he sleeps till between 6.30 and 7.30.

NellyTheElephant · 06/05/2010 12:00

My 5yr old goes to bed at 7.30 - in that she's bathed, in nightdress and expected to be upstairs and quiet, but she is rarely asleep before 9pm. She looks at books and fiddles around with her things. It is an absolute losing battle to try and get her to sleep any earlier so we just go with it and let her keep the light on provided she doesn't disturb us or her younger siblings. Her alarm goes off at 7.10am. She is never ever awake before this and on weekends will sleep until 7.30 / 8am. So generally approx 10 / 10.5 hrs like yours - although I don't envy you those early starts!

othersideofthechannel · 06/05/2010 12:12

On school nights, between 7.30pm and 8pm. Sleeps until 7.15am.

Any less and she is extremely tearful the next day.

McDreamy · 06/05/2010 12:14

DS goes to bed knackered at 7pm and I have to wake him up at 7.15am. He sleeps until around 8.30am at the weekend.

Bonsoir · 06/05/2010 12:16

A good, really long night for DD (5) is 10 hours (10 pm until 8am). Last night she went to bed earlier - and got up earlier.

Soapsy · 06/05/2010 12:17

4.8yr old goes to bed 7.30-8, sleeps til 6-8. Wake up time is highly variable and depends what he has been doing the day before.

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 06/05/2010 12:20

6.30-7pm until 6am. Wish she'd sleep longer tbh!

CatJosephine · 06/05/2010 23:36

10.00 to 8.30. wish he would go to sleep sooner.

thisisyesterday · 06/05/2010 23:38

bed between 6.30-7 wakes around half 7

hellymelly · 06/05/2010 23:45

we aim for asleep by 7 but might be 7.30,she wakes around 7.30

kitkatsforbreakfast · 07/05/2010 19:22

in bed by 7, asleep by 7.30 then I think he wakes around 6.30 - 7 ish, but luckily reads until 7.30 (8 at weekends).

LittleSilver · 07/05/2010 21:34

1830-0630. Bliss.

curvey · 07/05/2010 21:43
