Sorry for taking your name in vain, here I am wondering if I should go ahead with my PhD and thought of asking you about your experiences in this lovely gilded cage in the north of England. The University seems to be very good but student life is almost unexistant, I find my prospective supervisor the complete oposite to enthusiastic so work will be/has been up the hill most of the time. Should I miss yet another term to find another university (though it would have to be distance learning) or should I stick to it and continue studying here? Or most importantly, am I asking for the tinyiest comment against it just to drop the idea and forget about it?
