I have to do a language analysis research project

this is my hypothesis

Aim;
I propose the analysis of song lyrics from a specific group / genres of music. I plan to do this to prove whether specific genres have biased lyrics regarding women. Predominantly, I aim to determine whether the "rap" industry may possibly be classed as patriarchal, or whether women' s issues are addressed in a responsible manner.
I believe it will be interesting to highlight the struggles faced by women in this current era.
I plan to analyse the masculine discourse used in song lyrics from "rap music" (indexed below) from specific male artists. I would like to evaluate whether it is evidenced that these male artists have sexually unequivocal or discriminatory lyrics describing women, or whether women are seen as stronger and more positive. I would like to establish whether women (and their roles) are represented fairly, or if they have no real character - and are just implicated in the peripheral story, unnamed, with their importance associated secondary to the male characters.

but apparently I am not analysising it enough from a linguistic PoV

can any one help?
