What to buy an 11 year old boy?

My daughter, 10, has been invited to a party of a fellow class mate who is an 11 year old boy. What should we buy him as a birthday present. Have only got daughters so not sure what boys of this age are into.

My ds is almost 10 and he generally likes wwe figures or football stuff, or as its summer maybe a water gun? or an annual of some kind

Agree about water pistols.
Star Wars anything.
If he's a bookish boy, there are some good independent hardbound comics in the shops (like Derek the Sheep, Good Dog Bad Dog, etc.)

Hiya. I have an 11 year old ds so did a little research for you! His advice was a Game voucher - so that he can choose his own present as "all boys my age are into games consoles" - or a book from the Wimpy kid series or the How to Train a Dragon story as the film has just been out and is excellent!An Argos gift card might be a good plan as they sell such a variety of things. I would second a gift card or money. My 11-year-old always has a wishlist of things he wants but as they are all £20+ that's far too much for friends to spend on a present but contributions to the cost is always appreciated.

A lot of boys if this age are very into Warhammer, but you would really have tp know what type of armies he has before buying. Might be worth consulting mother.

There is a brand new Skullduggery Pleasance book out - Dark Days. My 12 year old has just bought one copy for his 11 year old cousin's birthday, and another for himself.
