Dd who is 3 fell at nursery today and has a really swollen lip and one of her top front teeth is wobbly. I have rung the dentist and we are going tomorrow morning but I am so upset about it. Has anyone else's lo had a wobbly tooth? Do they usually re-set or fall out?

This happened to me as a child it was both my front teeth, they fortunately did both re-set. Hope this happens with DD.

Happened to me as a child too - tooth reset.

happened to ds2 at nearly 3, tooth was basically bashed sideways and rotated 90 degrees. They gave home anti-b's so he didn't get a gum infection and the tooth has just set like that. It has rotated back a little bit, so is probably now at about 75 degrees. We just have to wait and see if it has affected his adult tooth - but hopefully not given his age at the time.

My dd did this when she was 2, the tooth died and went discoloured but didn't fall out until she was 5, her adult teeth came through fine.

That's interesting Danthe4th, my friends little boys tooth discoloured he managed to pushed it right up into the gum it's come down again but discoloured. I will tell her your experience. Thanks x

I didn't mention it in my earlier post, but the tooth I knocked loose which reset, also discoloured, but there was no problem with my adult tooth when it came through.

Dentist advised us that it will probably discolour and reset in about a month. Problem is dd is a thumb sucker and is constantly moving it so not sure how it will ever reset!
