Summer English schools for young children?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but our Spanish friends are looking to come to the UK in the summer and send their DC(7&8) to English classes.

I wondered if anyone knew anywhere that could do classes for such a young age? They were hoping to combine with sports etc so it's not all about classes/ school. And they wouldn't want it to be residential.

Preferably on the south coast, but I can't find anything at all anywhere! Help!!

Thanks.

ps. Will post in Living Overseas as well.

that would be interesting to know for my children as well. I'd like them to improve their english.

Maybe they could just enroll them in a summer playscheme, if they speak some English already?

Most camps for that age (that I looked into teaching at) didn't have formal classes anyway and were very focused on teaching English through activities but are residential. Sorry, that doesn't really help

You could try contacting English First - they run a variety of summer schools and I think some of them are non residentials.
