Just wondered if anyone had any experiences of these groups?

What sort of things do they do? How often do they have to go to church parades on a Sunday? Any other useful information!

Thanks!

In ours they do parade once a month which is really mandatory, and church attendance is generally encourgared.

They do crafts, cookery, acting, figure marching, bible study, all sorts really. The juniors have done lots of trips out, local parks, swimming pool, a theme park, a big local meet up with other brigades. Ds is in the infant level and they haven't done quite so much, but as the weather warms up they will be doing more outdoor activity and meeting up at the park rather than in the hall.

dd is off to her first camp in July, and very excited.

I went when I was a child and loved it. I'm not exactly a christian, but I appreciate the moral values it gives the kids.
