Are there really stem cells in baby teeth?

I stored the cord blood stem cells for my DS in December and I was talking to a friend of mine who has a 5yo DD and she was tell me about freezing her baby teeth. My friend didn't know that much about it but said she is going to do some research and apparently the cells that come from the teeth are better!? how can that be? surely there's more in the cord blood than in a milk tooth!?
Does anyone know about this? or where i can get some more info?
obviously i have plenty of time to research as my DS is only 4 months old!!!
thank you.
