I am going to take the plunge and start using cloth a night.
At the momment i use a mix of bamboo terries in the bat fold and onelife with onelife popper wraps, in the day.
I have some rikki wraps but they are a bit big still.
with ds2 i used ellashouse bumhuggers as a night nappy.
DS3 goes down 8ish and i don't change his nappy till 8amish. He sleeps on his tummy too so this is a factor, maybe my rikki wraps willperform better on that front?

what do folks use?

my faves are baby beehinds with an airflow wrap
or standard minki nappies with 2 microterry inserts- you could probably stuff with a folded bamboo terry though

Wee Notions Night Notions, Holden's Landing Bedbugs, Baby Beehinds bamboo nappies... With a lovely breathable fleece or wool wrap, soaker, shorties, or longies.

I mainly use well boosted Little lambs bamboos or Micros and use either a fleece soaker or flongies over the top. I have also got some HL's If your not in to fleece i would say your rikkis will be fine over any boosted fitted nappy!

The front sleeping will be fine if you boost the wet zone directly.

DD is in a stretchy bamboozle with an extra bamboo booster and a motherease wrap.

We have just come out of night nappies - i tended to use a well stuffed minki std or a nightime drybees.

nappyzoneloveslindor · 28/04/2010 17:42

towards the end i just used any daytime pocket. Probs not helpful.

raindroprhyme · 29/04/2010 18:08

thanks for your suggestions. will start with a booosted onelife and see how we go. he is in a sleeping bag would this make fleece or wool wrap less effective?

My DS is a tummy / side sleeper and we've tried a number of different nappies at night (we're in cloth full-time).
We settled on the WeeNotions Night Notions. They are a bit pricey, especially if you get the embroidered ones (why would you?! it's under a wrap anyway...). We have the bamboo ones with cuddlesoft liner (much nicer than the microfleece) in mocha (great for not showing any stains ).

Salbysea · 29/04/2010 19:04

I use pocket nappies during the day but find them sweaty at night so at night I use either a boosted totsbots stretchy or a wee notions night notion combined with fleece soaker or flongie. Work a treat!

nappyzoneloveslindor · 29/04/2010 19:09

ahh yeah nightime sweatys - i must say when we used daytime pockets it was mainly an accident wee and not several mahoosive pees through the night. I was sent a new stretchy tuther day - i likey. I could never get my head round wool despite my best efforts and stuck to fleece when in proper night nappy mode.

littlesez · 30/04/2010 06:27

Weentions night notions are popular but my faves are holdens landings and puddlekins silent nights. We use wool for a wrap , bubs is a tummy sleeper we just put a booster at the front of her nappy. HTH

I am going to get a dream eze from Baby Bots and try it with a Pumpkin Pants fleece soaker. The large in blackberry sold out before I got to them so have to wait for next batch! But they look lovely - have actually been eyeing them up for about a year so very pleased they have got them in.

In general though most bamboo nappies are great - also a Lollipop Softee is fab overnight. THe UK makers like puddlekins and Weenotions do some fab nappies.

octothechildherder · 30/04/2010 11:14

Meant to say the dream eze does have PUL in already so you may not need a soaker but I like to be careful!

raindroprhyme · 30/04/2010 19:10

Well i took the plunge. and a onelife with booster and 2 hemp boosters placed strategically at pee central , with a onelife wrap did teh trick.
tonight we are using a rikki wrap. I have reservations cos of teh gap at teh tummy but we will see.
Considering DS was out weeing a size 3 huggie and is only 14lbs i was quietly impressed with my clothies effort.
