Right so DD is 17m, thinking of trying for no2

My DD is now 17 month and originaly we thought we would wait till she was 3 or 4 before having the next 1.
But recently we have been discussing trying now, i got pregnant 1st time round within 2 month, so if all went to plan DD would be around 2.4m.

Just wondered if anyone else had this kind of gap between DC's and just a general chit chat thread

My dd and ds are 2.3mths apart and they get along lovely!

(thinking about the next now... similar age gap)

Don't assume you will get pg straight away with dc2 just because you did first time round - I started trying for dc2 when dd was 6 months old and it took nearly a year and a half before I got pg - only took 3 months first time.

I am in my late 30's though, so that may have some bearing on how long it took.

Whatshesaid - i know im not going to take it for granted hense why am going to do it sooner rather than later i think

Am 30 this year, also another reason for not wanting to wait x

My 3 are 2,5 and 6 with 17 months between the eldest 2 and 29 months between the middle and youngest. I was lucky enough to get pregnant the first month with all 3.

It's lovely to have them close together and although they fight sometimes it's great that they have each other now and as they grow up.

Yeah i do like the idea of them being closer as they get older, a imagine its quite difficult with a toddler and a newborn but as you say when they are older its nice.
