Im planning into going back to work in a year or two and trying to get as many courses under my belt as possible. Ive just enrolled on a computer course EDL and have just saw NVQ ealry years course at my local childrens centre. Have no idea about cost or anything yet as waiting for the lady to get back to me.

absolutely, I have one this afternoon, cookery =D We get to make a big mess, learn nutrition and eat it all afterwards.
Free, and kids are taken care of in same building.
I think it's all free no questions.

I just finished a childcare one where a tutor from the local children's centre came, I think there was a small charge for that if you weren't on means tested benefit.
Childcare they take care of for you though, as with all college courses providing your household income is under £30,000 a year.

Just all in my experience^

Also the job centre advisor at the children's centre has agreed to fund my childcare while I do voluntary work one afternoon a week now as it helps towards me getting a job (i need healthcare experience to get into healthcare which would be a catch 22 if it wasn't for these guys)

Love the children's centre :-)
