Wondered if anyone had any tips. Was up till 3.30am ( stupid I know) and have GOT to get some more of my dis done today.
Feeling really tired but need to make the most of having an empty house and atleast work through till 3pm when I need to go and collect the DCs.

Am editing, improving and refining my literature review at the moment ( finding this the hardest bit)

Any tips please?

Thanks for the tips TBE. I am using google books for some quotes so have got to keep the wifi on ( but I do agree that the internet can be a welcome big distraction!

This was the advice I was given

The purpose of the lit review
-to demonstrate your knowledge of the field
-to provide a theoretical context for your study
-to demonstate an understanding of the application of your study
-to indicate any contested areas
-to locate your own research
-to justify your own research

Can you tick all those points off?

Thank you. Erm.... well.. I think so (ish).

to demonstrate your knowledge of the field YES
-to provide a theoretical context for your study YES
-to demonstate an understanding of the application of your study - Not sure!
-to indicate any contested areas ERM.. DIDN'T FIND MANY
-to locate your own research - HAVEN't mentioned any of my own research as my tutor said I wasnt allowed
-to justify your own research - same as one above! - yes it would justify but I haven't said that so to speak.

You are bringing back bad memories !

I used to literally go by the clock. Set the alarm for 45 minutes of work, then have a 15 minute break on the alarm too ( I often used to go to SLEEP in this time) and keep that going all day.

I got loads done using this (perhaps strange) technique when really really tired.
