Is last years sun cream still ok?

Ds is 1. I plan on lathering him up in suncream as he is v fair and it's a lovely day!
Is last years factor 50 ok still or do I need a new bottle?

I seem to recall something about not keeping cream for too long but not sure

there should be asymbol on the bottle, like a little tub with a lid

it will haev a number in 12 or 18, thagt says how many months its ok for since opening

it says 18m so i think it'll be fine till for another 6 months!

I have heard that the SPF halves each year, so what was factor 50 is only 25 after a year of sitting there opened. Don't know how true that is though. Think it was that telly doctor (Chris Steele????) who said that.
