Just Home from shopping and i was in new look, looking for a birthday present for my niece who is 5 and saw a jersey playsuit for 2-6 year olds. To be Honest i thought it was very revieling, some other items i can mention to the tulle tutu is right up a a childs buttucks which i think isnt pleasent at all. My daughter was saying she wanted me to buy one because she seen kerry katona wearing one now she has lost alot of weight. Plus i would like to say my daughter is even saying she wants to go on a big diet and lose 2 stone weight.

How old is your dd?
I would be more concerned that she sees KK as a role model than about new looks clothing tbh

NaomiH889 · 14/04/2010 20:45

Shes only 7, I would like her to have a way BETTER role model than her. i have tried to push on other rolemodels. Do you know of any?

she reads trashy celeb mags? at 7?

NomDePlume · 16/04/2010 09:40

Mine can read (also 7) and has no idea who Kerry Katona is.

I suggest you stop buying the sort of shitey Heat/Now/closer type gossip magazines that feature these iffy moral compasses (Kerry Katona, Jordan and their ilk) so she can't read about them.

Fashion in new look is far less detrimental to her than the fact that YOU are enabling her to read such z-list claptrap.

NomDePlume · 16/04/2010 09:43

now go back under your bridge and rethink your somewhat scatterbrained posting.

You cannot complain about a skimpy outfit and your DD aspiring to be like KK when YOU ARE EXPOSING HER TO IT.

Off you go now, some goats are coming and you need to get in place.

My dd has a jersey play suit it is shorts and a vest top attached, for playing on the beach. It is not at all revealing ! She also has no clue who Kerry Katona is neither do i actually. [off to google]
