its just been a long day of trouble from ds2 (3.8) and i need to get it all off my chest!

We're in germany and he goes every morning with his brother to kindergarten on a wee minibus from the village we live in! he's been doing it for 6 months and suddenly this morning had an absolute paddy cause he wanted to sit in a particular seat! he is supposed to sit int he back row because he's one of the littler ones but this morn he point blank refused! he was kickng and punching me as i was trying to force him into the seat - in the end had to give up and let him sit in the seat he wanted while a bigger child sat in the back!! was so peed off he'd "won"!

so when he got back there was the usual drama about handwashing before lunch - he'd been outside playing FFS!

then this afternoon ds1 had to go for his first swimming lesson - i had to take ds2 with me! cue just so much naughtyness - kicking the door, playing in the toilets, running around trying to run outside.

by the time we got home i realised he was prob just needing to run around so i let him play out in the street on his bike while i watched him. ds1 was also out but fell off his bike and cut his hand. in the 2 seconds i spent with ds, ds2 had buggered off into the neighbours garden and it took me 5 mins to find him!

i know this is not all serious stuff but i have just had a day of it and he sometimes has days like this where he just gets more and more naughty and no amount of telling off/ distraction/praise for good behaviour gets him out of it!!

just needed to get it all off my chest! anyone else having a bad day too?

god yeah! glad its not just mine

my ds [3.6] has driven my crazy today with constant chat back, point blank refusal to do as i ask, running off and generally being a pain.

we are still getting used to the arrival of DD (4weeks) so i suppose it is jealousy combined with the heat!

oh the joys.

i'm sorry you had a bad day too!!! but congrats on the arrival of dd - its bound to knock your ds off a bit!! my ds had no such good excuse!

but someone (who'd witnessed his huge temper tantrum about the bus) said to me this morning that yesterday was the 13th (which i'd not realised) so since that day has gone now hopefully today will be better!!

seems all good so far altho dh has gone to a a conference for 3 days so i'm home alone which always stresses me a bit!

and the sun is shining so much exercise for my little dog DS!!
