Thermal baths and babies - can anyone advise?

The thread title pretty much covers it really!

We're wondering if it's OK to take our 8 month old to the thermal baths while we're in Switzerland.

He goes to waterbabies and loves the water, but DH is wary of them as he picked up an ear infection last time and we're just not sure if they're suitable for babies or not.

Can anyone help?

Hmm, i wouldn't think it was very advisable given the water temp they are often, we went to one that was in the mid 40's so way to hot and i do baths at 38°.

mm good point. I hadn't even considered the temp as an issue but you're right.

Thanks for your reply.

Can you research whether they have a 'cool' pool and if children are allowed in?

Right, have taken your advice and contacted them.

If anybody's interested (!) one doesn't allow babies under 12 months because of the heat, but one has childrens' pools which are only a few degrees higher than our local splash pool (32-34).

So that's that sorted

Thanks again.
