Hi, Feeling as if I've really failed as a parent! Have 2 sons, one aged 15 who is outgoing, regular group of friends and has many interests. Younger son who is 12 and is half way through first year at senior school. He has really struggled with this and has on occasions been the victim of bullying from people he considers friends. In terms of work and behaviour at school there are no problems. He does have friends from primary school that he sees at school. None of them live close to us, they all talk on x-box but my son is teased as we don't allow him '18 rated games', unlike his friends. This is all he seems interested in doing and it is difficult to get him motivated into anything else. Some of the time his behaviour is also difficult to manage, hard to decide what is normal behaviour. Any advice out there? Spend a lot of time crying as feel things are our fault.

What does your younger son do that you think might not be normal?

He sounds a lot like my DS1 who is only 10yo, btw, although I don't think bullying is an issue for us.
