Summer time

Hi,
I'm a mature student without any kids, and trying to understand what Mums think about the summer holidays for an art project I'm creating.
I remember the excitement building as school term wrapped up and the thrill of free time, which would turn in to boredom as I ran out of imagination. I'd mope and take it out on my Mum and brothers.
Do you look forward to/ dread the summer holidays? What are the best and worst bits?
Thanks for your help,
Lainey

Best bits are no school run, no ironing uniform, no packed lunches, no homework

worst bits are squabbling, rainy days, price of holidays in sch holidays and price of theme parks, cinema etc
