My washer dryer just f*ed up. It appears to have run a drying cycle instead of actually washing.
13 pop ins (wraps included)
4 bumgenius
...all ruined??

well. the only problem i've ever had with plasticky things in the dryer is bibs, that have ended up going all shrunken in places

i think if they LOOK fine they will be fine. I suspect a one-off tumble will be ok, even if it says not to. just don't do it all the time maybe?

i've never even checked the instructions in any of mine

I have sometimes tumble dried nappies and never had a problem so fingers crossed for you

Well, so far, everything looks pretty much as they did before. Given that I had no control over the damn machine, I don't know how long they were tumble dried for, or how hot. (Possibly 'not very' for both? )

The pop-ins are a bit weird and maybe I should start another thread on them really. I had a lot of v1 ones, and several of them went crinkly. This is apparently bad and happens if you tumble dry them or expose them to heat - I hadn't.
I contacted the company (they're like my pen pals, I'm always contacting them ) and they said they had a faulty batch, give them a list and they would replace. So about 10 were replaced. But several of the others look a bit crinkly, only the older v1 ones. The v2 ones have a label saying don't tumble don't expose to direct heat. I am seriously wondering whether all the v1 ones get crinkly with use. Not good! But where does that leave me with v2 ones - are they going to go the same way? If so, also not good!
