My ds started projectile vomiting on thursday night, diarrhea joined on friday. Took to docs and given dioralyte and told not to feed him milk (he is FF) until all sickness and diarrhea had stopped.

Sunday it stopped so gave some milk. Some vomiting, which got worse again. Went back to doc on monday, different doctor told me not to starve him, and to give him watered down formula. Have been doing that and now we have full blown watery diarrhea and projectile vomiting again.

What the hell should I do now?

he could have a temporary lactose intolerance caused by the bug - you could try a lactose free formula to see if that helps. Most up to date advice is to feed normal formula feeds and carbohydrate rich foods.

Our daughter had vomoting and diarreah bug that lasted 8 days a month ago and she was 7 months old then. She is formula fed and we ended up getting her checked out at the hospital as we were frightened she was losing so much fluid and hardly taking any. The advice we got was to give her little and often any fluid she would take - the only thing she would touch was her milk so it was a case of half an ounce here and there as this was all that she could keep down. The first day she wasn't sick we started to offer her solids again and she was fine. This was followed by a good 5 days of being absolutely ravenous, waking in the night for big feeds which she hadn't done for months! If you're worried, ring your health visitor or go back to the docs x
