Just looking for a bit of advice on my college application form. I'm trying to get on the Access course for nursing and it wants a 70 word explanation as to why I want to go on it.
Does this sound ok?

I would like to do the Access to Higher Education (Health Professions and Science) course as I would like to follow a career in nursing. I believe this course to be excellent preparation for the university course which will qualify me in my chosen career. I am aware that this course is not an easy option and have therefore registered on the Pathway programme to complete prior to beginning the Access course. I am eager to gain qualifications and experience in medical science and environments and am currently in the process of organising voluntary work with (local) Hospital in order to broaden my practical experience.

106 words. It does say "at least" 70 words so I assume it's ok to go over?
btw, (local) hospital is actually named on the form.
