did your college suggest than MN was a good place to post or are you market researchers in desguise?

Hi I go to WCHS,and our ChildD Teacher Mrs Matthews suggested that MumsNet would be a good place to ask mothers about their opinions on nappies. Sorry I just want my cwk to be really good by comparing these different brands im trying to identify if Dis posable is better than reusable. Thanks any comments would really be appreciated

How are you measuring absorbency? Out of 10? How long they last during the day? Leaks?

You will get different answers depending on what you ask. You have also not compared enough reusables as there are several different types (have a look at [http://www.goreal.org.uk/] for more information) , so you're not going to get a reliable answer.

Out of 10:

1 pampers 6
2 huuggies 6
4 nature babycare 7
5 bambo n/a
6 tesco own brand n/a
7 sainsbury own brand n/a
8 boots own brand n/a
9 terry twoeling n/a
10 Bambino mio 7
11 kushies n/a
12 tushies n/a
13 Wiona n/a
14 Fisger price Happy Days&nights n/a - not sold in the UK.
15 totsbots n/a
16 baby bots n/a

You should go for 4 regular disposables, 4 eco disposables, 4 2-part nappy systems and 4 all in one/pocket nappies to get a more reasonable comparison.

Hope this helps. Me, I like BumGenius all in ones and V3s, Little Lambs and Pop-In Dream Dris.

I used about 4 packets of tesco own and found they were just as good as huggies but much much cheaper. we now use fuzzi bunz, bumgenius flips and bambino mios (for night time only and love them all.
hope this helps a bit.

Havnt tried most of those, my fave disposables are morrisons by far closely followed by sainsburys. My fave reusables are bumgenius, tots bots, blueberry or plain old terry squares. Dont rate pampers or bambino mio at all they are rubbish.

Hiya,

Good luck with your coursework! You might like to change your list a bit as although im flattered Babybots option 16 is a retailer and not a brand of nappy.

If youd like any help and info from a retailer please do contact me from the contact us section on our website and i can send you some info.
