Daft question - measurements for Pumpkin Pants fleece soakers

I'm looking to buy some Pumpkin Pants fleece soakers. They are sized according to the waist, rise and thigh, so I need to get out my tape measure on DS. How/where do I measure the waist and rise?

DS has a huge pot belly which most nappies fall underneath. Do I measure him under his belly (a small waist) or around the main bit of his bulge? And (forgive me for being stupid ) but what is the rise? Is it the height, or the height all the way round (front & back?) And again, do I measure from under his pot belly, or from where his belly button is?

He is nearly 12 weeks old. If anyone could tell me which size is most likely to suit, that would be useful too!

Ooo, I'd be interested to know this too, if anyone can help? My DS is 15 weeks and about 15lb.

Hiya

The rise is right around from front to back id go for belly button down and back up the other side.

I tell my customers to measure around the top of the nappy with it on the child so there is room in the soaker/ longies to fit the nappy in! The soakers tend to sit just on the top line of the nappy on my son.

I'd say you'll probably need a medium if you want them for bulky night nappies obviously this depends on measurements.

Email me if i can help

I would say medium for both aswell

Great - I'll have a go at measuring next time he wakes up.

Thanks for the advice!
