Wraps to use with Bambinex teddies

I have lots of Bambinex Teddies which I really like. I've tried using a velcro Motherease Rikki wrap which leaked, (I think) because DS (nearly 12 weeks) has enormously chubby legs but only a small waist, since the wrap slips down underneath his pot belly.

Then I used a Onelife popper wrap. However, they seem to bother him - I think because the leg poppers stick into him, since the Teddies are not very deep at the side of the legs, so the popper is sticking straight into his skin rather than the nappy. I don't think this bothers him when lying down, but he spends all day in a sling, which I think presses the poppers into him.

He also seems to get a red mark around his legs where the wrap goes round. It looks more sore than just redness because there's been some pressure on it.

Can anyone suggest any alternatives, please? Every time I think I've cracked it with these washables, something else seems to go wrong, but I'm pretty fed up of having to do disposables.

TIA.
