4- sainsbury's own brand
5-nature babycare newborn

6-terry towelling

Thanks!

for newborns I used 2 part reusable and would rate Little Lamb best, followed by totsbots

for disposable I would rate Pampers newbaby, followed by huggies and sainsburys

p.s - best cloth nappy out there though is Bumgenius for all round greatness

Hi lavanya3,

I chickened out of using reusables , so don't really know anything about them.

For disposables I would rate them:

  1. Huggies Newborn
  2. Sainsbury's own brand
  3. Nature babycare (although they were a bit leaky)
  4. Pampers New Baby (all types of Pampers give my children nappy rash)
  5. Tesco (although only because I've never used them)

Hope that helps. Good luck with your coursework.

Have only ever used Pampers which imo do a great job so never had to try any different brand.

8, 7 and 6 if I could only choose those. If I could choose my reusables I would choose a Lollipop pop'n'gro.

You need to do some better research - you rlist is very poor to be honest - go and vixit one of these sites to see a wider range of real nappies as your work will be considerably flawed without proper information -

www.goreal.org
www.babybots.co.uk
www.cheeksandcherries.co.uk
www.jabulababy.co.uk
www.green jellyshop.co.uk
www.clothnappytree.com
www.teamlollipop.co.uk
www.lizziesrealnappies.co.uk

I could go on and on to be honest - get some beter info before you start your survey.

lavanya3 · 23/03/2010 16:42

what do you mean I have to find a wider range of real nappies?

Yes definitely - there are so many different types your survey would be flawed just lookng at those two. You will need an example of
a fitted nappy e.g. lollipop bamboo/flexitot
a pocket nappy e.g. coolababy/bumgenius
an all in one nappy e.g. itti bitti AIO
a flat nappy e.g. terry square
an all in two e.g. itti bitti snap in

Only once have you got a full range could you possible compare their effectiveness or compare them to disps.

thank you
