Who does the biggest wet bags?

new bathroom layout necessitated by arrival of ds means no longer floor space for bucket, but I only have puny 'day out' wet bags

where can I get one that'll hold a whole machine load?

Can't help with your actual question (helpful I know!!) but just wanted to say that we have a tiny tiny tiny bathroom, so we have a freestanding cupboard unit in DS's bedroom andthe bucket goes in there. Works well for us.

MrsBadger · 22/03/2010 09:15

bathroom is on floor below ds's room, I'm afraid

any more? Have looked at Monkey Foot xl - are they worth £20?

oh yes they are very nice..

my bucket goes in the outside loo downstairs, tho my friend leaves hers next to the rubbish bin in the kitchen?

We have 2 Monkey Foot xl bags and love them. They're pricy but worth it. MrsBadger I think you live near me IIRC, if you want to borrow one of my bags to see if its what you need before you buy you'd be more than welcome.

MrsBadger · 22/03/2010 11:00

hmm, I'd really like it next to the change mat in the bathroom

maybe I could make one - anyone done that?

I have 2 xl mf bags so that I can use one whilst the other is in the wash, now I only have one in cloth it takes 2 days to fill one, I really rate mine

Mrs Badger - Bespoke Baby Room gives 10% off to MN'rs - you can use my code which is MNOCTO if that helps

MrsBadger · 22/03/2010 18:57

thanks octo

has anyone tried the Swaddlebees ones, which look even bigger?

am not fussed re pretty patterns

The swaddlebees ones are bigger but drawstring - BooCoo sell them.

tootootired · 22/03/2010 19:58

Those Swaddlebees ones are huge - like a big bin liner size - I had one for holidays before some erk tumble dried it and the PU coating peeled off. You could fit 2 dozen nappies in it.

Why not just get a couple of dry bags and they will be useful in post-baby life? They can keep wet in or out depending on what you need.

MrsBadger · 28/03/2010 15:01

thanks for all the help

have ordered a Closer one from a local supplier

allegedly takes 15 nappies, is drawstring so will hang on hook and is subtly but nicely striped. Also £7.

will review when it arrives!

for those of you who are waiting with baited breath (haha)

it is lovely and also colossal, will hold way more than 15 (admittedly tiny newborn size) bimbles and def a whole machine load

thanks all

(for the record, even though I didn't tumble it the Closer one had completely lost its waterproofness after a year. Replaced with a Mommy's Touch zip one - much less smelly but zip bust after a year. Just bought a new one from Bum Deal - will keep you updated)

Thank you for keeping this updated. I'm still looking for a bag suitable for nursery!

MrsBadger · 15/03/2012 17:04

I recommend Bum Deal on ebay - mine is holding up well and they are cheaper than Monkey Foot

I found a bum deal nappy and saw some wet bags by same seller- not branded bum deal. Not sure if it's the same bags you mean. Any links would be appreciated.

On funky monkey pants they do a hanging wet bag that goes over the bathroom door. It's a Leslie's boutique one I think, it is MASSIVE.
