Does BumGenius Zinnia leak pink in the wash?

Any advice please before I buy my stash of BumGenius... I'm sure I've read somewhere that 'Zinnia' leaches colour in the wash. Does it? And do your white nappies end up pink too? As I'm hoping to have more little ones (who may well turn out to be boys), and will be re-using the nappies, I'd rather not choose any in Zinnia if there's a risk they'll turn the others pink!

I think I read you have to prewash all the darker colours a couple of times and then they are ok.

i've never had this problem with mine, i did prewash them all 3 times before using though so that might have helped.

(not sure what's wrong with pink nappies for boys though, DS has bumgenius nappies in zinnia & blossom & at 6mo i really doubt he gives a damn that he's wearing "girly" nappies!)

I would wash seperatly the first time.

Thanks all, and Beck I agree that boys can wear pink. I just don't want all of my nappies to be pink! Little one already has a wardrobe full of pink stuff as it is!

fair enough mumra - i'll roll up my 'boys can wear pink too!' banner & leave you to it
