DS is 13 months, earlier on he bit his tongue when he lost his balance, it bled for a bit... but now i can't get him to have a bottle or to eat...

I have managed to cup feed him some milk (about 3 oz) and some water... (very hot here)...

I don't know whether to carry on with this or take him to the doctors in the morning to let them have alook.. (not alot they can do really, but as soon as food enters his mouth he screams and he cant suck his bottle or sippy cups..)

Anyone elses child done this..

Please advise.

TIA

It is not swollen but you can just see the cut in it. poor little thing

Can you give him some teething gel to numb it? Things in the mouth heal really quickly - he may well be OK tomorrow, but if not, no harm taking him to the doctor.

Poor boy!

Nothing can be done for a cut tongue. I've been there .

Would he have a lolly or something to soothe it?
