DD's 7 and 4, have just had their bath, and have decided tonight is the night for asking, about their clitorises (clitorii? )

Up to now they have just used the good old "botty" for everything, but they kept saying "just tell us!!"

So any ideas of books with illustrations, suitable for LO's?

Have got Mummy Laid an Egg on the way from Amazon.

The thing is I'm a nurse, and DH is a doctor.

Isn't the done thing to use proper anatomical names these days? Haven't quite managed to bring myself to do it yet though - think I would giggle like a school girl

I was giggling like a school girl outside the bathroom, as DH squirmed.

He will have to tell them , I just can't, was hoping for a book with words and pictures.

'That's just the bit you wee out' - would have been my wimpy get out clause.

I remember being about 6 or 7 when I was straddeling a double wooden fence, my horrible big brother pulled one leg and I went straight down on my, ahem, lady garden.

I rushed upstairs screaming and quickly inspected the damage in the fully mirrored wall (ok, it was the 80's) in our bathroom.

I was shocked, to my horror - I had ripped a hole in it !!

I told my mum and I distinctly remember her telling me thats the bit you wee out of and I excepted this until I was muuuuuch older and thought - you liar!
