DS2 13mo has for the last few days been 'passing' completely undigested food. He's well, sleeping ok, no signs of teething so don't know if theres something wrong, or if it's normal. Usually he only does one dirty nappy a day, for the last few days it's been 4/5 times a day, bit like diarrhea, but with some undigested bits, seeds (from bread), raisins, carrots, peppers. Completely whole, should I taking him to a doctor??

yes i would take him but i bet your doc says....toddler diarrhoea.....

take him anyway, i def would if it's not normal for your ds then you are not over reacting.

At 13mo my LO didn't chew very well (at 17 mo, he still doesn't, really!). It sounds as though he is swallowing food whole and the foods you have mentioned are the ones that can't be digested easily - so sounds normal to me!

As for the frequency of 'movement', perhaps he has a small tummy upset (in which case, I wouldn't worry but keep an eye on incase it doesn't improve in the next couple of days) or perhaps he is teething - my DS always has horrible nappies at this time!

If you think he has diahorrea, perhaps hold back on the dairy for a day or so.

I think the thing that is worrying me is the seeds in the bread, I've never seen them in his nappies before and we've always had the same bread. It's like his tummy has decided it can't digest them anymore?
