Disposable nappy night-time leakage....

8mo old DS has been in disposable nappies since birth. All going well except, for the last two weeks he has been waking up soaked every night.

I put him in a larger size nappy and no luck, still happening.

Maybe he is saving giant wees for night time?

Can you buy extra absorbant ones? Had a look in supermarket but it seems thay are all night time nappies now...Anybody else using disposables have a similar problem?

try an different brand? sometimes the fit is different between brands, and you might find he's too big for what he was in, but not quite big enough for the next size?

if you've got friends with babies of simialr ages you might be able to buy / have a couple of nappeis off them to try rather than paying for a whole packet

Put a fleece soaker over the top of them - will repel the wee and keep everything dry - would recommend a Pumpkin Pants Fleece Soaker - I know its not a disp option but it works over disps!

No friends with babies at all becky ...hence the inordinate amout of time spent asking stupid nappy related questions on MN...Thanks though

Our boy is nine months and we have the same problem. Using Huggies 4 but is there another brand that's more absorbent?

I hate Huggies, found they always leaked. Using Pampers at the moment, think they are far more absorbant.
